Whats your greatest challenge with visualization? Working from memory helps indeed. Dont know why but I think that the key (or a quick way) is to work more with those short video clips to keep them more when we become aware of them. Now, seeing blackness for a person with aphantasia, may not seem like a triumph, but I normally when I close my eyes, I dont see blackness, I see a beige, sandy/gravel texture about a foot in front of me.
